Every tile hides one colour

Some tiles are clues: a ring that counts how many of its eight neighbours are each colour. Work out every tile from the clues and paint it in, and the board turns into a small pixel picture. It’s Minesweeper with colour and no mines. Nothing ever needs a guess.

The ring in the middle has a segment for each of its eight neighbours: three indigo, two gold, one persimmon and two blank. It counts colours, not where they are.

A garden that takes a month to grow

Each day’s puzzle is a close-up of one part of that month’s garden, and solving it places that part in the scene. A missed day stays open until the month ends, and every finished month is kept, just as you left it.

Four short lessons
Hand-made boards teach the rings one idea at a time. Replay them whenever you like.
Gentle or Tricky
Every board plays at two levels. Three mistakes stop a board; take a second chance, or start it again.
A library of pictures
Three packs of twelve — a tea house, a workshop, a toy shop — for when one board a day isn’t enough.
Two leaderboards
The fastest time on today’s board, and the most days placed this month.
Moon badges
Boards solved, days in a row, careful Tricky boards, whole packs and whole gardens, each a moon that waxes as you go.
